Gravesham is minutes away from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games by High Speed 1 trains. Ebbsfleet International will have services to take visitors to the Olympic Park in 12 minutes and into Central London in 24 minutes and as such Gravesham is an ideal base for enjoying the Olympics, the unique setting of Gravesend's Thames Riverside and exploring the exceptional countryside and historic villages of the North Kent Downs.

The London 2012 Olympic Games will be held in London and across the UK from 27 July to 12 August 2012, followed by the Paralympic Games from 29 August to 9 September 2012.     Gravesham to welcome Olympic Torch Relay

    Gravesend and Higham are on the route for the Olympic Torch Relay and will host the Olympic Flame on 20 July as it makes its way to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
