Group Visits
With a developing tourism offer, Gravesham is keen to encourage group visits and we tailor opportunities to meet individual group requirements. Ease of transport access from London and the South East of England make it an area relatively easy to explore.
Here are some ideas of visits that we can help to accommodate within the area. Please contact us for further information to help you plan your visit and to discuss your requirements. Guided tours for younger people also available. Telephone Gravesend's Visitor Information Centre on 01474 33 76 00 or email info@towncentric.co.uk.

Filming in Gravesham
Gravesham works closely with the Kent Film Office to assist those seeking to film in the area and we are committed to dealing with filming requests as straightforward as possible. Excellent road and high speed train links into London mean that Gravesham is within ease of reach from many of the South East's film studios.
Remarkable views over the River Thames, attractive countryside and parks, historic properties, expansive and ‘gritty' industrial areas and large warehouse premises lend themselves as locations for a range of filming opportunities. Films such as Wild Child (2008), Incendiary (2008), the BBC's Canterbury Tales (2003) and Bleak House (2005) and more recently Age of Heroes (2011) and The Island (2011) have been filmed in the area.
We are happy to assist productions interested in filming in the Borough and can often help filmmakers find publicly or privately owned or managed locations that meet your requirements. If you need assistance with sourcing a location, please contact Gravesham Borough Council Economic Development on 01474 33 73 38.
